Privacy notice

The short version: we only use your details to reply to you and plan your drinks, we never sell them, and you can ask us to delete them at any time.

Who we are

Dilutions of Grandeur is a cocktail and hospitality business based in Ireland. You can contact us about anything in this notice at dilutionsofgrandeur2018@gmail.com.

What we collect

  • Enquiry form: your name, email, phone number (if you give it), event date, venue, guest numbers and anything you write in your message.
  • Menu design quiz: your names, email, wedding date, venue and guest numbers, plus your quiz answers and the drinks profile they produce.
  • Emails and calls: whatever you choose to share with us when we talk about your event.

Please don’t include health information in the forms. If guests have allergies, we’ll talk them through with you directly.

How we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry and check our availability.
  • To email you your quiz results and design your menu.
  • To prepare quotes, spec sheets and everything else needed for your event.

We use your details because you asked us to (your consent when you send a form) and to take steps towards an agreement you’ve asked about. We don’t send marketing emails, and we never sell or share your details for anyone else’s marketing.

Who helps us

We use a small number of trusted services to run the website and look after your details: Netlify hosts this website and receives form submissions, Airtable stores enquiries and quiz results, and Google (Gmail) handles our email. These providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, using their own data protection safeguards.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and quiz details for up to two years after your event or our last contact, then delete them, unless we need to keep something longer for tax or legal reasons (for example, invoices).

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the details we hold about you, ask us to correct them, or ask us to delete them. Email dilutionsofgrandeur2018@gmail.com and we’ll sort it. If you’re not happy with how we’ve handled your details, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.

Cookies

This website doesn’t use tracking or advertising cookies. Our fonts are hosted on our own site, so visiting doesn’t share your details with font services.
